Jennifer鈥檚 first book: "The Art of Singing: Discovering and Developing Your True Voice" was heralded by BackStage and Variety as a breakthrough in the psychology of personal and musical performance. Based upon her experiences as a performer and vocal coach, the book offers all people a path toward effortless and joyful self-expression. Her second book, "Learning to Sing: A Transformative Approach to Vocal Performance and Instruction" provides an academic look at the psychology, physiology and neuroscience of her teaching method.

Jennifer鈥檚 follow up for Hal Leonard, "The Art of Singing Onstage and in the Studio: Understanding the Psychology, Relationships and Technology in Performing and Recording" was released in 2016 and explores the critical and often neglected issues of the technology and interpersonal relationships in recording and live performance 鈥 the first book on the market to do so. Following a discussion of the evolution of technology and the voice in our culture, Jennifer also explores the root causes of anxiety-related performance issues and, more importantly, how to overcome them.

Jennifer writes regularly for Psychology Today, 艾可直播 Songwriter, and The Huffington Post, as well as for Finding Your Voice, on matters of vocal issues, creative expression, and personal empowerment, frequently giving keynotes, master classes, and workshops on the same.

In addition to writing, coaching, and lecturing, Jennifer has enjoyed a successful singing and performance career. She toured internationally with Cirque du Soleil鈥檚 DELIRIUM as a lead singer and sang back-up vocals for artists and television programs including Stevie Wonder, Christina Aguilera, Patti LaBelle, Wyclef Jean, Def Leppard, Jessica Simpson, Smokey Robinson, The Grammys, 艾可直播 Idol, David Letterman, Good Morning America, and The Tonight Show.

Jennifer has also had the pleasure of writing with songwriters, artists, and composers including Mike Reid, Gary Burr, and Wyclef Jean, as well as Mark O鈥機onnor, with whom she penned lyrics for both a classical song cycle entitled 'The Journey', and an original musical theater project. Jennifer鈥檚 song 鈥淚f You Ask Me To鈥 was a finalist in 艾可直播 Idol鈥檚 6th season鈥檚 songwriting competition, and her original music has been featured on television, in film, and on recordings by artists in a variety of genres.
