Subject: Transformer Delivery and Installation

This Sunday, November 4, the main campus road between Hughes Hall and the Tunnel will be closed from 5 – 11 a.m. so that two new transformers may be delivered and installed behind Hughes Hall. During this time, pedestrian and vehicle traffic may traverse the campus around the Leonard Hall road.

The crane required for installation of the transformers will arrive on campus about 5 a.m. and will take about an hour to set up on the street. Installation of the transformers is expected to take about two to four hours as they are lifted and secured into place. Breakdown of all equipment is expected to take an additional hour.

Vehicles may enter Fletcher Gate and travel around Leonard Hall road to Glover Gate and vice versa. There also will be no interruption to power during this time, and noise from delivery and installation will be negligible.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you in advance for your understanding.
