Bio
Dr. Simon Nicholson is Associate Professor of International Relations and interim Associate Dean for Research. His work focuses on global environmental governance, global food politics, and the politics of emerging technologies, including climate engineering and 艾可直播removal technologies. He is co-founder of the Forum for Climate Engineering Assessment and the Institute for Carbon Removal Law and Policy, two scholarly initiatives of the School of International Service and served as founding director of 艾可直播 University's cross-campus Center for Environment, Community, and Equity.

Research Interests

Professor Nicholson's research and teaching focus on the politics of food and agriculture, global environmental and energy politics, the political and social implications of climate engineering, and issues to do with emerging technologies.
