Meet Our Students

GRace

Grace Payne

Grace Payne is a 3L at Washington College of Law. This summer, in addition to working for this collaborative, she worked under the Chief Legal Officer at World Hope International. At school, Grace is a Student Attorney for the Community and Economic Development Law Clinic, as well as an Articles Editor for the Administrative Law Review.  Grace also works as a Myers Fellow for the Legal Rhetoric program. When outside of school or work, Grace has been catching up on reading and paying too much attention to her plants.

Nick Sullivan

Nick Sullivan

Nick Sullivan is a 3L at Washington College of Law. He has spent the summer working as a summer law clerk for the Entrepreneurship Law Clinic developing resources to promote accessibility of benefits available to those affected by COVID-19 and for a local securities, mergers and acquisitions attorney. Nick is an Ohio-native who moved to DC when starting law school and has enjoyed the opportunities to gain practical experience that being in DC has to offer. Nick will be joining the newly-created Entrepreneurship Law Clinic in the fall to continue pursuing his passion in business development.

Quinn MILLER

Quinn Miller

Quinn Miller is a 3L at Washington College of Law. At law school, Quinn is a member of the Transactional Law Society that competes in negotiation competitions across the globe. As part of the Society, he competed in a competition at Duke University involving mergers and acquisitions. He is also the Managing Chair of the Hospitality Law Society. During the Summer, he worked as a law clerk in the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Clinic where he connected people and businesses with the relief provided by Covid-19 legislation. Quinn will be continuing his work with the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Clinic in the Fall to provide services for early stage entrepreneurs, start-ups, and social enterprises in Washington D.C.

Agostino Pini

Agostino Pini

Agostino Pini is an LL.M. student at Washington College of Law. He is an Argentine attorney. At school, he works as a Spanish Language Dean’s Fellow for the Clinical Program. He also is actively involved in helping the Community and Economic Development Law Clinic. He shares his legal expertise and his native Spanish to help the Clinics’ students attorneys and their clients. When outside of school or work, Agostino is passionate about sports, especially martial arts, which he has been practicing for almost a decade.

Tyler Nolley

Tyler Nolley

Tyler Nolley is a 2L at Washington College of Law. At school, she works as a Dean’s Fellow of the Entrepreneurship Law Clinic and assists the Transactional Law Clinic with Spanish-language based projects. She also is Columns Writer for the Human Rights Brief and the Social Activities Direct for the Black Law Student Association (BLSA). When outside of school or work, Tyler enjoys playing soccer and trying new restaurants in the D.C. metro area. 

Scarlett L. Montenegro

Scarlett L. Montenegro

Scarlett L. Montenegro was born and raised in Miami, FL and is Nicaraguan. She graduated as a Posse Scholar from Mount Holyoke College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Nexus Minor in Law, Public Policy, and Human Rights. After college, Scarlett spent five years working in the non-profit sector in Miami, Florida. She is currently a 2L at °¬¿ÉÖ±²¥ University Washington College of Law and is expected to graduate in 2022. Scarlett is a Dean’s Fellow for the Community and Economic Development Law Clinic. She is a Junior Staffer at the °¬¿ÉÖ±²¥ University Journal of Gender, Social Policy, and the Law. Her Comment, Criminalizing Asylum: DNA Testing Asylum Seekers Violates Privacy Rights has been selected for publication. Scarlett is also the Internal Affairs Chair for the WCL Latin °¬¿ÉÖ±²¥ Law Student Association the co-author of @FuerzaLawtina, a blog encouraging Latinas to apply to law school.
